Give your dishwasher a good scrubbing.
Take these steps to make your dishwasher squeaky clean again!
1. Clean out the screen at the bottom of your tub. All of the crud off your dishes runs through here and sometimes gets caught in the screen.
2. Look at the ports in the sprayer arm(s) and make sure they're unclogged by poking out any food particles.
3. Open the door all the way and clean the bottom edge of the door and the area at the bottom of the dishwasher where the door (when closed) covers. You may need a degreaser to get it good and clean.
4. Lastly, use a dishwasher cleaner/disinfectant and run a full cycle (without any dishes or detergent). This will leave your dishwasher smelling fresh once again.
